To the honor of the late MCA Beastie Boy Adam Yauch, Coldplay covers their #1 chartbreaker from 1986 “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (to Party)” at the Hollywood Bowl on May 4, 2012. Adam was my age… and a part of some of the best times of my life. May you RIP MCA!

In 1977, Elton John announced his “retirement” on his last show of his tour at the Wembley Stadium in London, UK. 35 years later, today, Elton John celebrates his 65th birthday, which would be – in Germany – the line to cross for legal reteirement… As the first retirement didn’t really happen, here’s hoping that Sir Elton will continue to bring his songs to many concert vernues all around the globe for a few more rounds, before retiring in Las Vegas (That one is for you, John!) in, lets say… 15 years or so… I’m sure, I’d still go to see him…

She & myself went to see Johnny Winter at Münster’s Jovel last night. My ears are still bleeding, from what has been a fab show. Sound was excellent. people were plenty, beer was pricey and Johnny was all himself. Felt like an old friend of the family came by and stoped to say Hello!.

Last night’s performance and 2012 debut of the E-Street Band at the Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, USA left me speechless… and I want to share that until FOX or the FBI take down the video on YouTube. It’s really THAT good!

I don’t really know, why it took me as long as almost a whole year to get back to Matt Wade and his (in)famous horn driven Band from Point Pleasant, NJ… Life had a couple of too many ups and downs, I guess… muy trabacho and that kind of stuff, probably, yeah. But since I am subcribed to Chris Rotolo’s YouTube channel, I had the pleasure, to get Matt’s most recent live-video delivered today, very conveniently, right into my mailbox…

It’s really a rare thing for me to have much sympathy for any presidential candidate (and sitting president that is…) wherever in the world, as I find myself having for Monsieur N’Dour…
