That’s magic! The band looks like they really love playing it, and they pull it off wonderfully. Eddie especially seems to know his part quite well

Hopefully as the tour continues Bruce will choose to play more of these gems from “The Promise”.

I’ve been checking out the various video clips on YouTube and elsewhere from the shows so far (although this is the first time I’ve seen this one, thanks Klaus!!) and they all leave me grinning from ear to ear. The clips of Thundercrack, Kitty’s Back, Bruce dancing with his mom (She’s almost 90!), Bruce walking deep into the audience to collapse into someone’s seat and then completely finish off a beer someone hands to him (a Stauder perhaps?) before finishing the song…and many more musical moments of brilliance from old songs to new which reveal Bruce and the band are still at the top of their game.

Klaus and Gundi I’m sure May can’t get here fast enough for you!

My how time flies… I’ve seen Reg twice. The first was at the Universal Amphitheater in Hollywood and the second time at the Hollywood Bowl, 25 years ago. Both he and I had a bit more hair back then…

Whenever and wherever Elton decides to pack up his piano for the final time, I wish him all the best with a big thanks for all the great music he’s shared with the world over the decades.

Nice to see (and hear) that Johnny is still going strong. Sometimes I think most of the older artists are more appreciated there than they are on this side of the pond. Must have been a wonderful evening watching Johnny work his magic.

Hey there just saw your little article about my band gloria swanson.. glad you like it! But there’s a mistake.. we didn’t seperate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you Klaus for sharing these! Looks like Johnny and the Jukes put on their usual high energy show. I know Johnny normally has a bit of a rough voice, but he really sounds somewhat strained in places here unless I’m imagining things. 4 shows in 5 nights can do that to you, especially with energy he puts into it. Looking at his tour dates however reveals he now has a break of a couple of weeks before the next round of concerts, so his throat should be well rested by then.
