Vor zehn Jahren begannen die amerikanischen Sänger und Songwriter Joe Grusheky und Joe D’Urso mit ihren Bands auf einem Konzert im legendären Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey, eine Konzertreihe, die sich dem Kampf gegen die Parkinson Krankheit verschrieben hat. Was mit jenem Konzert begann, ist inzwischen zu einer internationalen Tournee in sieben Ländern auf zwei Kontinenten ausgewachsen.

Alle Profite aus den Konzerten dienen als Spende an Organisationen, die gegen die heimtückische und langwierige Krankheit kämpfen oder Patienten und ihren Angehörigen Hilfe leisten.

Zu den Künstlern, die über die letzten zehn Jahre für “Light Of Day” aufgetreten sind, gehörten unter anderen: Bruce Springsteen, Michael J.
